Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand have designed the two small armchairs LC1 Villa Church and LC1 UAM. Both of them are part of the Cassina I Maestri Collection.
They were both designed in Le Corbusier’s Rue de Sèvres studio. Today they have been exclusively reedited for the first time ever by Cassina, thanks to the full support and ongoing collaboration of the Le Corbusier Foundation and Pernette Perriand-Barsac, daughter and sole heir of Charlotte Perriand.
LC1 Villa Church is an elegant interpretation in which the minimalism of the armchair is softened and given a gentler, more feminine feel. LC1 UAM is a fascinating journey in which forms respond with increasingly immediacy to real requirements.
