For more than 250 years Hotel d’Angleterre in Copenhagen has been the most elegant and exclusive place to stay for the night when visiting the Danish capital. Now the grand hotel will temporarily close down due to the largest ever hotel renovation in Denmark.
The renovation will result in a true deluxe hotel; fewer rooms, but larger suites – one of them more than an impressive 250 square meters plus a large balcony, making it the largest suite in Copenhagen – two restaurants, two bars as well as more square meters for the day spa.
The dècor will be contemporary classic to match the grand facade of the hotel which will re-open in the beginning of 2012.
