The new international kitchen trade fair celebrated its premiere in Cologne this past January. Both from the perspective of visitors as well as in the eyes of the many exhibitors, it proved to be an extremely successful trade fair performance that certainly has what it takes to establish itself as number one in the international kitchen trade fair landscape in the long term.

The unexpected rush of 138,000 visitors, 96,000 of whom were trade visitors, compared to 77,000 trade visitors in 2010 (+24 percent), surprised exhibitors and organisers alike. At the well-attended stands, exhibitors noticed a sensational reception on the part of end consumers: 42,000 private individuals learned about the latest trends in home décor and offers pertaining to the kitchens on display. Compared to 2010, this represents an increase of 82 percent.

The popularity of the trade fair has led exhibitors to draw a very positive conclusion, and just 100 days after its close, they are already confirming their participation in LivingKitchen 2013.
