Guzzini has recently introduced a new conceptual project, which takes the form of “My Chair” – the first made by the company – designed by Carlo Colombo.
"Chairs are one of the most difficult objects to design these days. This one is intentionally disproportionate. Its disproportion is the secret to its beauty and its strength. It's sinuous; its design embraces the generosity of feminine forms" says Carlo Colombo.
The chair's frame is made by metal and the seat is made by two-toned methacrylate, a plastic material that has been widely used in many collections in the Guzzini catalogue. The chair is available in eight colours: red, green, orange, violet, blue, yellow, white, and black. Ergonomic and therefore providing superior seated comfort, the chair can also be stacked to help optimize the ever-shrinking space available in modern homes.
