Brian Sironi has designed a series of ceramic pottery called Fibonacci. What the vases and the pots all have in common is the rings on their exterior, which grow in height according to the Fibonacci sequence. The collection features two cylindrical vases and a cylindrical bowl.
Leonardo of Pisa, also known as Fibonacci, was a Pisan mathematician that during the thirteenth century introduced his sequence to the world. The sequence starts with 0 and 1 and every subsequent number is the sum of the previous two. The sequence has been found naturally in biological settings, such as in an uncurling fern or the fruit spouts of a pineapple.
