Linde Burkhardt has designed four carpets with Fernando Pessoa as inspiration for Driade. Pessoa was a Portuguese author, poet and philosopher who died, 47 years old, year 1935. He's known for his many fictitious author personas, which all had different personalities. The pseudonyms were called Alvaro de Campos, Alberto Caeiro and Ricardo Reis, and now they've lent their names to Burkhardt's carpets.

The carpets are painted with a palette of warm colors, which to Linda Burkhardt represents the different characters.
