Stureplansgruppen open the restaurant Grand Escalier Brasserie & Jardin in Stureplansgallerian. A French brasserie with 130 seats is located on the top floor above Stureplangallerian’s light well. At an inner court close by another 120 seats is located, as is a big bar.

- In the kitchen of Grand Escalier we don’t take shortcuts, the food we cook is an unpretentious and genuine handicraft. The menu is firmly placed in the French brasserie menu, with courses like moules mariners, bouillabaisse and steak tartare. The French raunchiness combined with the broad menu contributes to that the most simple becomes the most exciting, Jonas Höglander says, chef at Grand Escalier, in a press release.

The color of the furnishings and the interior comes in earthy colors with bar stools and armchairs in matte red and green tones.
