The architect Mies van der Rohe designed Villa Tugendhat in the Czech Republic during the 1930's. The building is today listed as a Unesco monument. The Brno chair was designed during that decade just for Villa Tugendhat. Today it is produced as an updated version of the original design, redefined by Vladimír Ambroz, for Amosdesign. The upholstery is more comfortable and the construction is made from a flat steel bar.
