Tomorrow the Stockholm Furniture Fair opens. Between February 5 and February 9 the worlds largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and light design takes place in Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm. Leading designers from Northern Europe celebrates design and fashion by meeting retailers, buyers and design lovers under one single roof.
Nendo is the guest of honor and as thanks they have created the illusion of a snow clad mountain at the entrance, which welcomes the visitors.
- We have laser cut over 100 sheets of a foam material and transformed them to a landscape which expresses how the design process startas and develops from a simple idea to a finished expression. This is a method which illustrates our design philosophy, Okia Sato from Nando says in a statement.
