The design duo Straight, consisting of Andreas Beijer and Viktor Erlandsson, has designed a multifunctional plate. It's called Multi Tray and is entirely made out of wood. The thought was to allow the fruit to be seen and be a part of the design.
- We think that it's a shame that fruit so often are placed in bowls so you cant see their shape or color. The fruit in itself is so beautiful that we decided to design a plate where you instead expose the fruit in an elegant way, Andreas Beijer says in a press release.
