The Cubist Vases is the first object in a planned ten year project by Constantin and Laurene Boym. Under the name Souvenirs of Modernism the duo wishes to celebrate the 100th anniversery of Modernism with a series of collectables.

The Cubist Vases is meant as a homage to cubist painters suck as Picasso and Braque. They're made from optical crystal. The flat shapes are assembled into 3D-objects with UV glue. The method creates a wide variation of unexpected multifaceted refelctions and disortions.
