As a necklace of light is how the designer herself, Katriina Nuutinen, likes to describe her lamp Hely. The armature consists of four glass balls in different colors. The light bounces between the balls and reflects all over, setting the mood in the room where Hely hangs. Katariina Nuutinen is a student at the Aalto University of Helsinki, and graduates this Christmas. She studied jewelry design when she got the idea to Hely, and during a lesson in art history the composition with several large, light glass bubbles took form.
