The table Extrait by Bastien Taillard have a tabletop in concrete, where natural pigments have been added to give the table a natural feeling. The table top is waxed to give a smooth finish. The inspiration is taken from Marrakesh and the wall that surrounds the older parts of town. Taillard is often inspired by nature and has a penchant for hard, raw materials such as concrete and ice. In Extrait he wanted to capture the domestic universe that rests in the fragments of the wall.
