Variable Surface Technology is the key to the new designs from Stepevi. Under the name Deep, carpets with unique, sculptural layers can be designed. Deep captures all the dimensions, by interacting with the the surrounding space, creating a unique and ever changing visual experience through depth, light and texture. A bright allegory of colours and softness of the textures during the day gradually change to deep, introverted long shadows with the evening light. Deep is a new rug from every angle. The design Mienterr, as many others in the Deep collection, reflects upon forces and forms of nature from a macro to a micro level.
The Deep rugs have been created by Stepevi in co-operation with Milan based Domus Academy Research and Can Yalman Design.
