Arillo is a collection of opaline vases, designed to revive traditional glass-blowing techniques. The Arillo line is characterized by its sculpted, geometric form, whose design draws upon multiple cultures and traditions, both western and oriental. The technique used to produce the objects is the same age-old technique employed in the production of Venetian beads, known as “lavorare a rigadin”. The shape of the Arillo vases has been inspired by traditional Chinese lanterns. Design by Luca Nichetto for Venini.
