The shoe horn is the result of a collaboration between japanese design group Nendo and emblematic wood manufacturer Maruni. What's at first glance just a wooden cone can be divided. The top part of the cone is lifted away, and the shoehorn comes away with a conic section. The shoehorn can be removed with one hand and has a stand that is weighted for proper resistance. The shoehorn and stand stay connected by an embedded neodymium magnet. The piece is carved from a single block of wood for complete continuity of the wood grain..
