Ironic glass

The glass table Playtime is dedicated to Jacues Tati and his bewildered moon. Playtime is designed with a fair measure off irony, and intends to make a little bit of fun of the aseptic minimalist projects. The shape of the table top is inspired by the French director’s comicality, always politely ironic.  The glass and base cut create a sculpture of superimpositions. The top is available in float glass, extra clear or smoked glass, while the base can be chrome-plated or white lacquered. The glass table is designed by Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni for Tonelli.
