6x3 Burr Puzzle table is a new piece by Petar Zaharinov. All designs in the collection are inspired by burr puzzles.
An advantage of such structures is the simplicity of detail and technology they require, which was the main reason the designer focused on them. He says:
- The contemporary design is getting more and more complicated in terms of materials and technology, I want to offer an alternative by using simple technology and traditional materials.
6x3 coffee table is an 18 piece interlocking structure, made only of wood and glass, without the need of metal and plastic parts, nor gluing. It consists of a reciprocal frame and a transparent top. The bearing structure consists of 6 types of wooden elements, 3 pieces of each. It is assemblable and disassemblable, allowing easy transportation.
