Stelton introduces a new series of sculptural bowls created by Japanese designer Hiromichi Konno. The series consists of a large serving bowl and four small serving bowls that can be used for both cold and hot dishes. The series is nominated for Formland Design Award - Spring 2010 with the following motivation:
- The bowls have a special form, which works especially well for the large serving bowl. It is a interpretation of an old idiom where the angular shape plays with light and smoke.
The designer has chosen five of trend colors for 2010. Hiromichi Konno is a realized design projects in Scandinavia and has on many occasions made furniture and interiors for Danish companies. He was educated in Sweden, has lived several years in London and currently has his design studio in Tokyo.
