Maria Löw was created a new textile by the name Acacia. In her design she worked with transparency and colour. The textile has a botanical pattern.
- As an urban citizen I find nature in the parks of Stockholm. One favorite place is the Butterfly House in the Haga
Park. Memories and black and white photos from there have been my inspiration for the design of my new textile
patterns for Almedahls Contract collection 2010, she says.
- I want to convey the peace and quiet that a garden or a greenhouse can give to workplaces or public spaces, where you can create a green oasis of textiles, she adds.
Almedahls will present the new textile at the Stockholm Furniture Fair next week.
