Finnish Habitek presents the Morris tables, small, asymmetrically shaped round coffee tables in five forms and a playful set of wooden legs. Basic models are available in black, white and bright coloured table tops in laminated matte or high gloss surface. The legs are made in solid oak and oil waxed. Wooden versions include an oak vaneered table top with legs in oak, as well as a massive ash version with legs in ash, treated with soap. Prototypes of the cheery tables were first exhibited in 2005. The form and over all design has been inspired by the beautiful movements of Mr. Morris, a black dachshund – now 5 years old.
