Danish designer Hee Welling has been successful with the Hee chair for Hay, among others. Now he starts a cooperation with the Swedish company Voice. The collaboration starts out with the dinner table, Blend. The table has thin lines and elegant details. The designer explains:
- The idea behind the table line was to create a visually simple and functional table of highest quality. A table that works equally well as a sofa- or dinner table as it does as a writing desk or conference table. The construction is built around the corners creating a gliding transition between the frame and the legs. At the same time it has been important to minimize the profile dimensions to accomplish a simple and light impression without compromising with the strength and stability.
