Bolon's has created the new collection Botanic which is a weaving vinyl flooring with environmental care. Botanic contains a new plasticizer which, in turn, is based on renewable raw materials originating from plant extracts.
FUWL is behind the visual concept around Botanic, reflecting nature’s variety of organic architecture and wealth of detail. Nature photography and handicraft have inspired renderings of flowers, herbs and plants in woven vinyl.
To Bolon – run by the Eklund sisters (Annica and Marie), flooring is rock ‘n’ roll. The family run business has been producing woven vinyl products for more than sixty years – and even today, the factory, development department and
design studio are all situated in the same place - In the middle of the deep forests in Ulricehamn, Västra Götaland, Sweden.
