A harmonious material mix

Elam, a historic brand in Italian design, introduces its most modern kitchen, Soya. Offering a broad choice of materials (from prized woods to stone) and particularly close attention to detail, Soya adds a personalized touch in line with modern trends in design to the busiest corner of the house.

The new model, developed and refined by Elam Design Lab, features a dual island configuration: one holds the range and sink, while the other is used for food storage and appliances. A work of high design, the Soya kitchen is characterized by optimal organization and use of space.

Soya represents a harmonious mix of different materials: a distinctive note is added by the contrast of colors and textures between the exclusive countertop in flamed Indian stone (12 cm thick) and the thick glass snack counter inserted between the base and countertop, running around nearly the entire perimeter. The result is an unusual and elegant interplay of volumes and heights that translates into enhanced functionality: the glass snack counter allows
the cooking and washing island also to be used as a table.
