Temporary Museum for New Design opens up once more

For the second year in a row Superstudio Più brings the Temporary Museum for New Design, the exclusive center of international design, built as a museum of excellence. It is created to give space to the best projects by renowned or significant names, precisely following the concept ‘less fair and more museum´. It will open during the design week in Milan, 14th - 19th April.

The Superstudio Più white buildings, divided in big “galleries” built as art galleries, host different expressions of the new design, in which the product connects to culture, to emotion, to tomorrow’s vision, thanks to the exhibition experiential lay-outs of great impact. Concept and art direction is done by Giulio Cappellini in collaboration with Gisella Borioli.

The most well-known architects from the international panorama display their skills through their collaboration with the most renowned brands. For instance: Jean Nouvel for Methis, Paola Navone for Barovier & Toso, Marcel Wanders, Matteo Thun, Carlo Colombo, Piero Lissoni, Cristophe Marchand and others for Alcantara, the Campana brothers for Veuve Clicquot and Cosentino, Marc Sadler for Karol, Vicente Garcia Jimenez for Foscarini, Tom Dixon and others.

A very important and significant new entry is the one by Flos, which in an exclusive 1.000 square-meter pavilion develops a new concept in terms of style and technology. It contributes towards the common areas simulating a futuristic landscape with the gigantic Arco lamps, recalling streetlamps, designed by the Castiglioni brothers.
