The Upholstered Tapas Chair by Matthew Hilton will launch during Salone del Mobile in Milan next month. It is created to be a light and comfortable high back dining chair with slim line upholstery, with a nod towards the strong forms of Spain's characteristic objects. The unique shape of the seat shell set upon the three legs is made so that the chair does not dominate space around the table but provides balance on any terrain.
The chair is made in American white oak or American black walnut.
