Patricia Urquiola translates her sensitive perception of living environments, historic role models and everyday situations very pragmatically into the Axor Urquiola spatial concept. In doing this, she has designed the space so that people can meet each other there, communicate with one another while at the same time maintaining their own private sphere. Hence the individual arrangement of the wash places positioned opposite each other represents her approach of creating intimate areas without separating them completely from one another.
