"Table Light" is a small light created to fit a desk or side table. It is designed by Lukas Peet.
Inspired by rays of light, the design is heavily weighted on function and has a strong graphical presence. Designed around the half mirrored globe bulb that was chosen because it reflects all the light down and onto the table surface. When seen from above it reflects the soundings while acting as a "shade" and preventing the light from shinning into the persons eyes. The Pale yellow glaze adds warmth to the light when switched on reflecting off the base into the soundings. And when switched off the base communicates the intentions of the light.
The lamp is composed of a cast ceramic base with a pale yellow glaze and a half mirrored globe bulb.
