Sofa dressed in cushions

Luca Nichetto presents a brand new couch: "Dressed". This is a couch “clothed” in cushions, which are inserted into the sofa cover and thus become an integral aspect of the object’s aesthetic. Although cushions are usually designed independently of couches, Luca Nichetto is here proposing a yielding sofa whose softness is achieved by stuffing the cushions right into the sofa’s own fabric cover. Inspiration for the idea came from the protective padding frequently used in sportswear today and from the old-school application of patches to clothing.

The sofa, which is the first object in an upcoming line of furniture, is of a size that works equally well in both domestic and professional contexts.
