Konstfack was be represented at ICFF 2010 in New York last week, by three first-year master’s students from the Master Group Formgiving Intelligence.
Initiated by John Astbury, Bengt Brummer and Karin Wallenbeck, “Potential Energy” is a collection of lighting
that explores this concept. This is the first project from the Whatswhat Collective.
The lamps represent the presence of both suggested and actual movement. Each piece expresses a different
take on potential energy, playing with structure, dynamics and atmosphere. Inviting interaction to set the
potential energy in motion. A story of analogue dimming, movement and rest. The projet was supervised by Teo Enlund, professor leading the Master Group Formgiving Intelligence at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design it was conceived specifically for the ICFF exhibition.
