The Vancouver based studio Molo design has received the 2010 ICFF Editors Award for their luminous series of cloud lamps made from sheets of expanding honeycomb paper.
The 'Cloud softlight' has soft and luminous forms, flowing in a unique topography. The objects can be hung in different ways and combinations of three sizes of clusters.
The lights are made from non-woven polyethylene material and trade name tyvek©, a 100% recyclable material, made from 5 – 15% recycled content. Its lightweight paper look and feel is tear, UV and water resistant, making it durable to handle and maintain.
