Swedish University College of arts, crafts and design, Konstfack, was represented by three first-year master’s students from the Master Group Formgiving Intelligence at this years 2010 ICFF in New York.
Initiated by John Astbury, Bengt Brummer and Karin Wallenbeck, “Potential Energy” is a collection of lighting that explores this concept. This is the first project from the Whatswhat Collective.
The lamps represent the presence of both suggested and actual movement. Each piece expresses a different take on potential energy, playing with structure, dynamics and atmosphere.
