Marcel Wanders hotel wins prestigious award

With the "Hotel of the Year 2011" award by the Schlummer Atlas editors of the Busche Verlagsgesellschaft, the Kameha Grand Bonn receives the most important award of the German hotel industry. With the award the hotel rises up to the top of the German hotel industry and joins the famous group of previous winners, such as the Adlon Hotel in Berlin, the hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich, and the Park Hotel Bremen.

- We are very proud to bring the “Busche Award in the category hotel industry "of the Busche Verlagsgesellschaft to Bonn - and this less than a year after its opening in November 2009. I am particularly pleased that the Kameha Grand Bonn was able to convince the jury of leading hoteliers and gastronomes through the innovative concept.

The Kameha Grand Bonn is the new “Lieblingsplatz” at the Rhine. A total of 190 rooms and 63 suites are decorated in an exciting and unusual design. Marcel Wanders, the "rock star among designers”, designed the interior of the hotel and accented with neo-baroque and attention to detail. In the Kameha Spa guests forget the everyday life at the exclusive private spa room for two, four treatment rooms, saunas, a fitness floor and a heated infinity pool.
