Postfossil is a collective of emerging designers, which creates objects for the home, thinking about the postfossil reality and putting their objects into the context of resource scarcity. "Fossil" does not only stand for energy sources but also for social behaviour patterns. That’s where the initiators start.
The collection includes products that focus on the use of materials; others attempt to reflect everyday – fossil – routines, to reconsider habitual processes. Others deal with the subject ironically. The collection aspires to long life and environmental friendliness, and reflects a responsible use of resources.
The collection consists of tables, chairs, shelfs and other objects for the home.
