Omni, Materia's futuristic chair, got a supporting role in the science fiction movie Prometheus.
- We got a phone call fromt he designers who are working with the scenography for Prometheus at PineWood Studios in London. The decoratior Sonja Klaus had seen a photo of Materia's chair Omni in an article in the Evening Standard, and thought that the clean and elegant design in white and silver would be perfect for the futuristic vision they had for a special part of the spaceship Prometheus - the space assigned to Vickers, portraited by Charlize Theron, Marc Bird, sales manager for Kinnarps UK, says in a statement.
