SAOTA designs open family house

The site on Glen Avenue in Higgovale is designed by SAOTA and faces in a Northerly direction, with its boundaries on the South East. SAOTA's principal objective in the design approach was to screen the heart of the home from the South Easterly and create large semi-enclosed gardens. The living rooms have large openings of sliding doors towards the gardens, which blur the boundaries of the interior and the exterior. The kitchen is the focus of the first floor; the upper level accommodates four bedrooms and a larger library area.
