Close to Reykjavik's dry dock lies the newly built Reyjkavik Marina Hotel. THG Arkitekts's goal was to connect the building to the surrounding elements; contemporary art shops, restaurants and musems and the old harbor. The rooms are in many sizes and each with its own characted. Some have high ceilings and balconies with view over the harbor. The hotel hosts Slippbarinn, Iceland's largest cocktail bar, and the Slipp Canteen, 24 hour open restaurant.
