House 3098 is located in the Shep Mun Kap Village in Hong Kong. Because of the Small House Policy in Hong Kong HEAD Architects had to work within the guidelines for allowable footprint, height and constructional methods. The close proximity of the houses doesn't allow for much view, so the architects put focus on turning the views inward.
Big windows are letting the sunlight in and the dining room has an 8 square meter glass skylight. Through passive solar design, efficient LED lights and renewable materials HEAD Architects try to minimize the building's footprint.
