Bed of contrasts

Alain Gilles has designed the Contrast Bed for Bonaldo. The bed is designed with contrasts in mind: it has a masculine cartoon like metal structure, and the head board is upholstered and oversized simple, warm and welcoming, and feminine.

- The Contrast Bed embodies well what I call “simplexity”, or the ability for a piece to appear simple at first glance but to be complex enough to be interesting and to generate new emotions, Alain Gilles says in a press release.
