The 24th edition of the International Carlo Scarpa Prize for Gardens has been held. The prize was created to help elevate and spread the culture of landscape architecture in the balance between conservation and innovation. This year the Scarpa Seal was awarded to Skrudur, a small vegetable garden, located only a few kilometers from the Arctic Circle in Iceland. It was created by Sigtryggur Gudlaugsson, a Protestant pastor.
