Diffuse is a small light, ideal for a desk, table or side table. The lamp is composed of a slip cast ceramic base, applied with a pale matte yellow glaze and a half mirrored globe bulb. Designer Lukas Peet was inspired by diffusion and rays of light, and the design is heavily weighted on function- It has a strong graphical presence. The half mirrored globe bulb reflects all the light down and onto the table surface. When seen from above it reflects the soundings of the room while acting as the shade preventing the light from shining into the persons eyes. Peet warned to create a light that would illuminate only the table surface.
