Ikebana pays tribute to a certain kind of Japansese flower arrangement. The vases in ceramic and lacquer come in three different sizes. The smallest one is dark grey,, the medium sized light grey and the biggest is mainly white. A linear slot at the top allows the user to place flowers in arrangements that suits the individual eye, in a continuous line or in strong forms. the vases play with contrast of colours, aspect and material. Ikebana is the first collaboration between English designer Edward Robinson and french design manufacturer Petite Friture.
